Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information immigo collects, how we use and share it, how we protect it, and the rights you have under U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
1. Who we are
immigo is a mobile application operated by Hanium LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. In this policy, "we," "us" and "immigo" mean Hanium LLC. This policy applies to the immigo app and the getimmigo.com website.
2. Personal information we collect
Depending on how you use immigo, we may collect the following categories of personal information (as defined by the CCPA):
- Identifiers: name, email address, and account identifiers.
- Immigration profile you choose to share: your citizenship, immigration status, visa type, and the state and city you live in.
- Case information: USCIS receipt numbers you choose to track.
- Content you provide: documents and photos you upload for analysis, and the messages you send to the assistant.
- Commercial information: subscription and purchase status (processed by Apple; we do not receive your card number).
- Technical and usage data: device type, app version, and diagnostic data.
We collect only what our features need, and only the information you choose to provide.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to: operate and personalize the assistant's answers; track the cases you add and send you reminders; provide, maintain and improve the app; process your subscription; respond to your requests; keep the service secure; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.
4. How we share information — and what we do not do
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We disclose information only to service providers that help us run immigo (for example, cloud hosting and our AI processing provider), strictly under contract and only to perform services for us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
5. AI processing
Your messages and any images you attach for analysis are processed on our servers and sent to our AI provider solely to generate a response for you. We do not use your content to train third-party foundation models, and our providers are contractually restricted from doing so.
6. How we protect your information
Sensitive identifiers are stored in your device's secure Keychain. All network traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Government API credentials never exist inside the app. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. You can export or permanently erase your data at any time from Data & Privacy inside the app. Deletion is irreversible.
8. Your U.S. privacy rights
Depending on your state (for example California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and others), you may have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how we use it; access and obtain a copy of it; correct inaccurate information; delete your information; opt out of any sale or sharing (note: we do not sell or share); limit the use of sensitive personal information; and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
9. How to exercise your rights
To exercise any right, email info@hanium.app or use the in-app Data & Privacy controls. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we will verify your identity before acting. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of, but you can review your choices at any time using the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. Children
immigo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International users
immigo is operated from the United States and is intended for people navigating the U.S. immigration system. If you access immigo from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the United States.
12. Changes and contact
We will notify you of material changes to this policy in the app or on this page and update the "last updated" date. Questions? Contact us below.
